When do we need to reply?
Please reply before 31 December 2026, so we can count everyone.
Can I bring someone?
Your invitation already includes everyone who is invited with you. Please check it, and don’t add anyone else.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! If they’re invited, they’re already included in your invitation.
Where can I park?
At the Chiostro in Lecce, there’s plenty of free parking right next to the entrance. In Mesagne, parking near the church is very tricky: tickets, fines and lost time. It happened to Valentine! If you’re not from the area, take our shuttle from Lecce.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes, both the church and the Chiostro. We recommend the shuttle from Lecce to avoid the parking hassle in Mesagne.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel good and comfortable. It’s a wedding, so let’s stay elegant: fancy and colourful is perfect. Please avoid white and beige, for women and men alike, no discrimination here!
Which shoes should I wear (or avoid)?
Ladies, leave the stilettos at home, really! There’s a lot of lawn and uneven ground, so choose block heels or sandals. No ruined shoes, no twisted ankles.
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to southern Italy! Expect warm, sunny days, often between 26 and 32 °C, with pleasant evenings. Light clothes and plenty of water will be your best friends.
Indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is indoors, in the church. The reception is outdoors, with an indoor space ready in case the weather isn’t on our side.
Can we take photos?
Yes, we’d love that! Please share them in our shared album (link coming soon). Just no photos during the ceremony or as we leave the church. At the reception and the brunch, snap away!
Can I drive into Lecce’s old town?
No! The whole historic centre of Lecce is a ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato): cameras at every entrance automatically fine unauthorised cars, and with a rental car the fine arrives months later. Park outside the old town walls and walk in, it’s small and beautiful on foot.
Why is everything closed in the afternoon?
It’s the riposo: almost all shops and restaurants close from about 13:00 to 17:00, then reopen until late in the evening. Plan the beach or a nap in the afternoon, and shop or eat in the evening.
Who can I contact with questions?
